Ivan Garcia Rodriguez: “Since childhood, Hugo has had an ease with the racket that impresses. He has always loved being at the club and whenever he can he goes to play with people. He simply adores the sport, and the social aspect of padel : he talks with everyone, plays with everyone, and always behaves very well. ”

Ivan Garcia Rodriguez: “I think Hugo is followed by a lot of people on social media because people see that he is not cheating. We don't take 1 shots to make a video. We decide what to do and he does it naturally and spontaneously. I think that's what people like: seeing a little one with this skill. “

  • A talent worthy of the stars of the WPT?

Ivan Garcia Rodriguez: “Now it's a bit early to know if Hugo will ever be able to play the WPT, but he seems to have all the possibilities. He just turned 6 in January and it is the first year that he has really taken lessons. We train Andres Tapia and myself in a one hour group training once a week. And then, when he is at the club, the teachers take him kindly to their lessons when they are missing someone. At the moment we don't want to do too much, but from next year we will train him a little more and he will start the competition! ”
