This Saturday morning, the first men's semi-final was played between Paquito Navarro / Federico Chingotto à Alejandro Galan / Jon Sanz. After a match lasting nearly three hours Friday, the latter had to compose against a formidable duo and in very good shape since the start of the competition.

Chingotto and Paquito on fire

It was the Hispano-Argentinian pair who entered the game the best, obtaining the first break, thus taking the advantage over their opponents. Like a real showman, Paquito Navarro beat his compatriot Galan in his diagonal, varying the attacks and thus showing his rivals that beating them today would not be an easy task.

On the right side meanwhile, “super raccoon” was solid and incisive. Although, for a short time, it looked like the Spaniards were going to come back into the game, it was only short-lived as Paquito and Fede put on a big boost to widen the gap a little more. And it was on a "par 3" from Seville that the two acolytes won the first set 6/3.

Galan and Sanz have not said their last word

Determined to reverse the trend, Sanz and Galan started the second period by breaking and showing a new face. More aggressive and solid, they manage to make their opponents doubt for a moment, thus taking the advantage (3-0). But that was without counting on the determination of the Hispano-Argentinian pair, who managed to come back to score and undermine the strategy of their rivals (4-4). More regular than at the start of the second set “shit” and Paquito had a very solid game but it was not enough to stop the Spaniards who gave everything to reset the counters. Galan and Sanz thus return to the match by winning 6/4 in the second set.

Sanz-et-Galan

A one-way set

On the return from the bench, the two teams went blow for blow but not for very long because very quickly, it was “Super raton” and his Sevillian partner who took the advantage of this fight (4/1). Physically affected after their long meeting the day before, Jon Sanz had a moment of weakness, most likely suffering from leg cramps. He was obliged to call on the physiotherapist of the competition to be able to continue to play his match. The meeting quickly turned into punishment for the Spaniards who continued to suffer attacks from their rivals. Faced with a more than weakened Sanz and a Galan trying to overcome his partner's fatigue and pain, Paquito and Chingotto took the opportunity to take off and grab the victory.

Final Score: 6 / 3 4 / 6 6 / 2

The pair thus win their entry ticket for the final of this Human Padel Open which will take place this Sunday. They will meet the winners of the second semi-final which will be played this afternoon between Moyano / Gil and Di Nenno / Stupa.
