The French Championships padel 2022 start tomorrow. The opportunity to make an overall update on the most important competition in France.

As you probably already know the French Championships, organized by the FFT and sponsored by Wilson, take place in Toulouse Padel Club (Occitanie league) from October 21 to 23.

Collombon / Godallier and Bergeron / Tison favorites to succeed?

2021 French Champions Johan Bergeron, Léa Godallier, Benjamin Tison, Alix Collombon

The draw will take place on Thursday evening. and the fate of certain teams will necessarily depend on the tables. We can all the same advance a little by saying that among the ladies, it is difficult to see who can deprive Léa Godallier and Alix Collombon of the double. Indeed, our two French women from the WPT have never lost a set together in France and they keep a good head start on the competition.

Behind, however, it's a bit vague with several pairs that seem very close in terms of level with Clergue / Ligi, Detriviere / Martin, Invernon / Soubrie, Lefevre / Ros, Ginier / Pothier... We should see very balanced matches !

Among the men, Johan Bergeron and Benjamin Tison will also be favorites for their succession, but be careful because behind the list of contenders is long. We think first of Bastien Blanque and Thomas Leygue. The unfortunate finalists of the previous edition proved that they could beat Johan and Benjamin and they will be keen to repeat the performance “at home”!

Then, several pairs will want to do well. Among them we find Maigret/Scatena, Grue/Moreau, Forcin/Inzerillo, Authier/Lopes…
