Focus on qualified pairs

What thrills the hearts of enthusiasts of padel and of sport more particularly, it is competition. And to be honest, we do too!

In order for you to have an idea of the different statuses (if you are not aware) we have decided to focus on the different favorites, underdogs and pairs to watch, whether on the ladies' or men's side.

Pairs qualified Ladies French championships 2022

For the ladies: Godallier / Collombon, the team to beat

As in 2021, Léa Godallier and Alix Collombon will be the big favorites in the competition for the ladies. By analyzing the situation in all lucidity, despite the general progress of the padel women, there is still a gap between them and the rest of the teams and they should, in all likelihood, retain their title obtained last year.

However, the competition is likely to be particularly interesting to follow, because behind it is the blur. Several pairs appear as potential rivals: Invernon / Soubrie, Ginier / Pothier, Detriviere / Martin, Ros / Lefevre or even Ligi / Clergue to name but a few.

To be clear, the clashes promise to be particularly fierce between all these pairs which seem very close to each other in terms of level.

Among the gentlemen: the duel Bergeron / Tison vs Blanqué / Leygue headlining, but…

The fight promises to be particularly tight among the men. Between the Bergeron/Tison pair which arrives with its number 1 seed status and the Blanqué/Leygue pair which won two P2000s this year, we are going to be served.

It was also the poster for the final of the 2021 edition of the French championships. Bergeron and Tison had then taken over their vis-à-vis. But watch out for Blanqué and Leygue who will arrive with a knife between their teeth, with the aim of leaving this time with the trophy.

Just as with girls, many pairs appear as potential outsiders who would be on the lookout for the slightest misstep. We can think of Maigret/Scatena, Grue/Moreau, Inzerillo/Forcin, Authier/Lopes, Cancel/Guichard, or even Vives/Auradou (who won the Mas P2000 this year).

A panel of particularly formidable rivals who will have only one objective: to shake up the current hierarchy to hope to dream bigger.

See you from October 21 at Toulouse padel club for a show that promises to be monumental!

Passionate about football, I discovered the padel in 2019. Since then, it's been crazy love with this sport to the point of abandoning my favorite sport.
