Jose Maria Mouliaa love France. We often see him doing tournaments in France, and Padel Magazine had more than one interview opportunity. Meeting with the just champion of the FIP Rise Canet-en-Roussillon.

The players are happy!

Padel Magazine : To see this kind of tournaments, you have to come to France! (laughs)

Jose Maria Mouliaa:“Yes, it's true that you don't see that anywhere else. The people are great here, the place is also very beautiful, and we are very happy that Padel Magazine do this communication work. The players are happy!”

Padel Magazine : What is the outcome of the week here in Canet?

Jose Maria Mouliaa:"I think we've come to a perfect time : now the player can make his own schedule. Until then we adapted to the circuit and we played all the tournaments. We are all very tired, but I think if things continue, from next year the player will no longer have to play everything and choose where to go. It will be positive for the padel because there will be a lot of tournaments, and the player can plan as he wishes.”

Only one ranking!

Padel Magazine : What do you think of the current situation of the padel professional and numerous circuits?

Jose Maria Mouliaa:“I prefer that there is only one circuit, because the different circuits don't agree. It's not good for the padel. It is true that nowadays Premier Padel is the best circuit because they make a big bet. I hope the WPT and the APT can get into the discussion.”

Padel Magazine : What do you think of the possibility of having several circuits but only one ranking?

Jose Maria Mouliaa:“They have to agree, that would be ideal. There cannot be three world number 1s!”

Padel Magazine : You played with Mercadal this tournament. What is the plan for the future?

Jose Maria Mouliaa:"We had wanted to try playing together for a while. For now it will only be for this tournament, but we have a great relationship. We could, why not in the future, go on a longer project together.
