We hear from Jessica Ginier, who will soon be a mother, and who should take over the padel faster than you might have thought!

Franck Binisti: First of all, how is your pregnancy going? Everything is fine, are you not too craving for sport? You will soon be the mother ... of a future player of padel ?

Jessica Ginier: I'm doing great, my pregnancy is going pretty well, I'm in good shape and a happy woman.

I did a lot of swimming and walking but I admit that the lack of sport is starting to be felt.

I am in my last month and I am only waiting for one thing: to start my new role as mom.

What is certain is that between tennis, padel and football on the dad side, he will have the choice of several sports. Then he will do what he pleases, and at the level he wants, as long as he is fulfilled, it is the main thing!

Franck Binisti: Did you have time to follow the World Cup a bit?

Jessica Ginier: I followed Team France on almost every match since I was at home. I was able to see both boys and girls.

I lived this world almost as if I was with them in Qatar. I was able to read all of them articles related to this tournament. We were able to see matches on all the courts, in exceptional conditions.

They were able to evolve in perfect conditions. This quality offered to padel do well. Bravo to the organizers and to the FFT also for the means put in place.

Franck Binisti: A little regret perhaps to have missed the fourth place in the girls? Do you think if you had been there things would have been different?

I know the girls did their best. The atmosphere seemed to be great and there seemed to be a great atmosphere in the team.

In this match for 3rd place, it came so close. But we weren't necessarily the favorites against Italy. The Italians have players who play regularly, who play on the World Padel Tour. They have made a lot of progress.

Could I have made a difference? We'll never know. But the bottom line is that they gave it their all. There is no regrets to be had.

See you again next year, I will do everything to be part of the next French adventure and we will try to take our revenge.

Franck Binisti: Could we find you in business as early as 2022?

For 2022, the priority for the start of the year will be to devote myself to my new life. Secondly, resume sport and obviously replay. Pleasure is important to me, and that's the watchword for 2022!

Franck Binisti: To finish, have you noticed an evolution of padel during your absence?

I find that the padel becomes professional. Everything is going very fast. The players, the FFT, the tournaments and all the players are moving forward. Le padel on TV, that's obviously a very good thing for our sport. The coming year is very important. All lights are green.
