As we mentioned yesterday, 4PADEL et Babolat organized an incredible event bringing together many personalities from the media world in Montreuil. Including a distinguished guest…

Indeed, Juan Lebron had made the trip from Madrid to participate in this great celebration. It was thus an opportunity for Padel Magazine to speak with the world number 1 and discuss with him about his pre-season and his 2023 objectives.

“A great event at 4PADEL"

For two years now, we have seen more and more “El lobo” on French soil and the least we can say is that he is beginning to take a liking to it.

“Yes, it's true that I really like everything I've seen in France. Whether it's Paris, Nice, Marseille, I really love this country. And then Paris is the city of love, it attracts even more”.

“More and more events like this are organized around the world so that this sport can develop. Today, we had the right to a great event from 4PADEL et Babolat. I wish them all the best. This day is a success, we had a good laugh and enjoyed it, that's the most important”.

“I train 5 to 6 hours a day”

“I train hard every day. I make sure to give the best version of myself every day by not missing any training. Today is not the case but we will say that it is for a good cause because it is also a great day for Babolat, who for years has been taking great care of me. Brands are doing great things for the padel and we professionals also have to be there for them”

“To come back to the pre-season, it's very hard every year. Personally, I train on average 5 to 6 hours a day between the physical, the technical, the mental and all the lifestyle part that goes with it such as diet, recovery, etc.

“With Ale Galan we train every day together. It's as if we were a little couple (laughs), or brothers, you could say. Our relationship is very healthy. We have known each other for quite some time and each passing day is an opportunity for us to get to know each other better. And that's surely what makes it sometimes easier for us on the track. I am delighted with the team I have now and I hope that this year we will once again achieve the objectives we have set ourselves”.

“Every year we start from scratch”

“We know that there are new pairs that are very strong but every year we all start from scratch, so we too have to integrate new things into our game. We will always be ready for what happens and to validate our objectives. ”.

“All the pairs are strong and we know all the players. Matches are played out in detail. We see each other almost every week in the 20×10 and of course we have to study them. As I told you, we are going to make sure that we are ready to face whatever comes our way”.

As you will have understood, the native of Puerto de Santa Maria is working hard and will be ready to start the season in a few weeks. in Abu Dhabi for the first WPT tournament of the year.
