Le padel is making a name for itself in the United States! It must be said that if we are to believe the United States Padel Association (USPA), the number of players should increase to more than 10 million and the number of tracks to more than 30 by 000. For this to happen, its popularity will need to experience a big boom. And you can count on the Pro Padel League (PPL) to promote our sport on the other side of the Atlantic.

Indeed, the professional league of padel has just announced its calendar for the 2024 season, with a nice prize money, one million dollars, and the presence of stars of the padel global ! We think of players that we no longer present like Pablo Lima and the Alayeto twins (Flowrida Gators), Juan Martín Díaz and Fede Chingotto (New York Atlantics), Miguel Lamperti and Maxi Sánchez (San Diego Stingrays)…

“We are extremely excited to continue to deliver on our commitment to growing the padel in North America and to be the catalyst for growth across the continent”, said Marcos del Pilar, president of the PPL.

For this 2024 season, ten teams will compete to try to win the trophy, the Las Vegas Smash (2023 champions), the Cancun Waves (2023 finalists), the Miami Padel Club, the Flowrida Goats, the San Diego Stingrays, the Los Angeles Beat, the Arkansas Matrix, the Toronto Polar Bears, the New York Atlantics, and the Houston Volts.

The first two regular season events (of 4) of the 2024 season are scheduled in Florida for April 1-6 and April 8-13. The final two events of the regular season will take place in Southern California from August 12-17 and August 19-24. After that, the top eight teams in the standings will advance to play the finals in New York at the end of 2024. Each matchup will include men's, women's and a mixed match.
