The game of Padel is played with a racket manufactured in accordance with the following regulations.

The racket is divided into two parts: the head and the handle.

The handle: maximum length: 20 cm, maximum width (of the heart, without taking into account the free space): 50mm, maximum thickness: 50mm.

The length of the head is variable. The length of the head added to the length of the handle can not exceed 45,5 cm. The width can not exceed 26cm and the thickness 38 mm.

The total length of the racket Padel (head + handle) cannot exceed 45,5 centimeters. A tolerance of 2,5% for the thickness of the racket will be authorized in the event of dimensional control.

The racket's striking surface is perforated with an unlimited number of cylindrical holes measuring between 9 and 13 mm in diameter in the central area of the racket. In a peripheral zone of maximum 4 cm measured from the outer edge of the racket, it is allowed that the holes have a larger diameter or a different shape - the length and width of which vary - provided that this does not affect the essence of the game

Both surfaces of the racket must be flat but can be both smooth and rough.

The racket can not be equipped with objects or devices other than those specially used to limit or prevent any deterioration, vibration and to distribute the weight of the racket.

If so, these items must be reasonable in size and positioning on the racket.

The racket can not cause confusion or disrupt all other players. It can not have a reflective surface or sound elements that could in any way alter the normal course of the game.

The racket must be equipped with a non-elastic wrist strap with a maximum length of 35 cm, which must be attached to the handle and wrapped around the wrist as protection against any accident. Its use is obligatory.

The racket can not be equipped with visible or audible elements intended to communicate, warn or give instructions to the other player during the course of the game.

Case n ° 1: During the match, a player accidentally breaks his racket. Can the game be continued under these conditions? Decision: Yes, unless the safety strap broke or the Padel carries a danger.

Case # 2: Is the player allowed to use more than one racket during a match? Decision: Yes, but not during a point.

Case No. 3: Can a battery influencing the game's characteristics be integrated into the racket? Decision: No, any battery is prohibited. A solar cell or other similar accessory is considered a source of energy.
