With two big tournaments planned for 2020: one for the FIP, the other for the APT Padel Tour, Las Vegas, the most populous city in Nevada, seems to be betting on padel.

The United States, which have over 3 million pickleball players, represent a huge growth potential for padel. FIP and APT Padel Tour understood this well. Las Vegas, the gambling capital of the world, is clearly one of the most attractive cities for hosting tournaments.

Thus, the International Federation of Padel organize a FIP Rise at the Real Racket Academy in Las Vegas from November 15th to 17th. It is also rumored that the world championship of padel veterans, supposed to take place at the same time, can also take place in the “city of sin”. Business to follow.

THEAPT Padel Tour is not to be outdone, with, in 2020, as Fabrice Pastor told us, three dates scheduled in the United States, including one to Las Vegas, from 06/07 to 12/07. The San Diego tournament which was to take place from 27/03 to 03/04 could not be held because of the Covid-19.

Hopefully, the one in Las Vegas and the one in Houston, which is supposed to take place from 12/10 to 18/10, can take place. Ditto for the veteran world championships. The United States being hard hit by the virus, nothing is less certain ... In any case, when things return to normal, it could be that the American show will greatly contribute to the development of padel !
