The first chain of padel in France finally has its mark!

A pioneering role and leader of padel in France

It was in 2013 that the group, well known to Foot5 players, decided to embark on the adventure padel, with one ambition: to accelerate the development of a stagnant market totaling 64 national courts.

From January 2014, with the opening of the Champigny-sur-Marne complex, the network welcomes its first players from padel… And this year will be a pivotal moment in the start of the dynamic since 3 other complexes will open their doors at padel (Bordeaux, Carrières-sous-Poissy, Orleans).

Since then, the movement has continued to accelerate and the market now has 172 clubs and 382 pitches, mainly private structures. What makes padel a booming sector in the leisure world in France.

With the opening last September of FIVE Limoges and the installation of 2 padel at FIVE Annemasse in October, LE FIVE PADEL reinforces its position as the leading chain by totaling 32 courts for 13 clubs.

An ambitious development plan with more 50 short 2018

The LE FIVE group will continue its development in 2018 since until the summer 5 new complexes will offer padel, for a total of 53 courts and 18 clubs with openings in Dunkirk, Mulhouse, Reunion, Metz and La Courneuve.

THE FIVE PADEL does not intend to stop there, since all the new projects of complexes under study, include a minimum of 3 courts of padel.

A rise in the range of LE FIVE products and services PADEL

With 3 years of experience in the French market, that gleaned in Spain and with adidas Padel, the group is entering a phase of accelerating the deployment of its o_res. Its leadership position and its critical size of 50 courts padel will allow it to put in place the recipes that have made it successful in football5, with, among other things, an advanced digital experience, major competitions, strong partnerships or academies dedicated to children ... in an increasingly qualitative and user-friendly setting.

But as the padel is not treated like foot5, the group is also increasing its business expertise with resources dedicated to padel, both within clubs and in transversal functions, promising a year 2018 full of surprises!
