Good news at the start of the year: We have found the traces of the former manager of Soccer Park Strasbourg: Franck Rolling. Now associated with the complex ”Foot and padel”(Formerly Evadsports) in Strasbourg, Franck looks back on his career and on a new football club with obviously padel !

Padel Magazine - How did you get started on this adventure in Strasbourg?

Franck Rolling - My background is above all sporting, 14 years old professional footballer and then a retraining in several fields of activity that have no direct links with football, to return anyway to sport, more precisely to 5-a-side football and especially in the padel for 3 years now.

3 years ago, we opened a center in Strasbourg with 2 indoor courts, the market being totally virgin, no one knew the padel.
The demand is important and it was obvious to bring on Strasbourg a new offer and especially another service

Since when does the club exist?

Padel & Foot exists since November 2017, we bought Evadsports which is historically the first 5-a-side football center in Alsace (2007).

Can you describe to us the infrastructures of the club and its ambitions?

We have of course kept 5-a-side football with 2 fields, and installed 3 padels because the center has a height of more than 9 meters, ideal for the practice of padel..The big plus of our center is the panoramic tapas bar.
Our offer padel is wide with fun tournaments like that of St Patrick on March 17 in kilt but also tournaments approved as the P250 of March 24 and 25 (Open Padel Head) then the P1000 Head Open end of April (regional final).
And concerning the courses of padel, we have an Argentinian coach who ensures the quality of lessons for young and old. Clinics and demo days are on the program as well as opportunities to test different brands of rackets.
