Are the public, the media, the players doing too much with Juan Lebrón and his sometimes (too?) borderline behavior? Opinions are not that clear-cut, and some find excuses for Juan Lebrón.

The Montpellier resident, Pierre Fournier, big fan of the professional circuit and, obviously, reader of Padel Magazine, gives his opinion going against the grain of what can be read and written:

“Is it really a controversy when Lebrón brandishes his t-shirt after his high-tension shift in Mexico?

He's been whistled for three games.

The criticism has not stopped about Lebrón since what happened at the Qatar Major.

As a fan, I have the impression that relations are rather cold between Lebrón and Galán on the pitch.

And I think there is also frustration to see Galán slipping away in favor of Fede Chingotto. I think he regrets what happened in Qatar.

For me, he is very diligent on the track, he tries not to make noise and he has been getting whistled since the start of the tournament though...

It's a shame to lose a pair like that for the season... He lost everything with this separation.

Galán is so far above the rest (with Tapia, I think) and there he finds himself playing the revenge where everything went into a tailspin while Lebrón/Galán put in a great performance… The two Spaniards beat almost “easily” Yanguas and Garrido. From the first game, they were in difficulty on their serve and their entire service game was complicated, while Lebrón/Galán controlled their shots. Tactically, they were on top.

For me, he's a bloodthirsty man, he has an oversized ego, he's been whistled at, he's provoked... Lebrón, nothing surprising, but I think we shouldn't get offended every time that 'an athlete reacts like that; they have such an ego and the adrenaline rush of victory makes them do incomprehensible things at times…”

We await your opinions.
