Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia are having a stratospheric first part of the season. There are no words to describe such a start to the year. In the history of World Padel Tour, which began in 2013, we have never seen such dominance, even in the days of Juan Martin Diaz and Fernando Belasteguin.

Despite Arturo Coello's small physical alert last week, and Tapia's forearm glitches in Austria, they remain on a small cloud.

Here are some numbers:

  • 8 tournaments played on the World Padel Tour – 8 tournaments won
  • 37 games played on the WPT – 37 wins
  • 7 wins to 1 against Di Nenno and Stupaczuk
  • 3 wins to 0 against Galan and Lebron

As a reminder :

  • Victory in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates)
  • Victory in La Rioja (Argentina)
  • Victory in Santiago de Chile
  • Victory in Asunción (Paraguay)
  • Victory in Granada (Spain)
  • Victory in Brussels (Belgium)
  • Victory in Vigo (Spain)
  • Victory in Vienna (Austria)

It is said that competition is fiercer than ten years ago. However, at the start of the 2023 season, Arturo and Tapia do not really have any rivals. Will we see a change in the second half of the year?
