Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia managed to get everyone to agree in this first part of the season. In 2023, the Spanish-Argentinian pair won 8 out of 9 tournaments played (8 out of 8 on the WPT).

Some believe that the most famous of the Belasteguín / JMD (Juan Martin Díaz) pairings are already overtaken by the young prodigies. But you will see that there was a before World Padel Tour, this relatively recent circuit which took the place of the Padel Pro Tour in 2013.

In total, Bela and JM have won more than 100 tournaments together on the various professional circuits and have spent 13 consecutive years in first place in the world. Indeed, they held that position from 2002 to 2014. Their dominance on the professional circuit was unparalleled.

Belasteguín and Díaz hold the record for the longest winning streak in the history of the padel. They managed to win 24 consecutive tournaments between 2005 and 2006. Coello and Tapia still have a long way to go!
