The world of padel enters the phase of de-containment on a part of the globe. And this is the case of Spain, which is launching its phase 1 and which allows certain players to padel to start training again padel.

Spain is slowly coming back to life

In Spain, at least in many regions, we are living again! We are entering phase 1. After nearly 2 months of confinement, Spain will finally be able to revive its economy and allow people to leave. But as in France, we will have to respect many rules.

Le padel resumes in Spain. But it will be necessary to respect all the standards announced by the government, the Spanish Federation of Padel and different regions. In this first phase out of the 4 announced, playing padel will remain complicated. This is particularly for professionals of padel to resume sporting activities and padelistics before the resumption of tournaments and the professional circuit of padel.

Spain thus authorizes the re-opening of sports spaces, but under certain conditions. And as in France, clubs are wondering if it is worth the effort because the standards are too high to ensure perfect safety for the players.

Training / Coaching resumes

For the moment, phase 1 concerns the clubs of padel outdoor in the autonomous communities that allow it this Monday. A re-opening therefore partial but which will be put in place little by little. The courses of padel will also be allowed. But be careful, there too, as in France, you will have to respect many rules as described on twitter by the FEP (Spanish Federation of Padel).

Social distancing is at the heart of the mandatory standards for a resumption of padel, such as the distance of two meters, the obligation to leave the premises once you have played padel, the changing rooms must remain closed, cleaning of hands, club, grounds, chairs... In short, we will have to remain vigilant.

The teachers are getting ready!

In Spain, we are finally seeing the end of the tunnel and we can see the resumption of professional activities in the padel. For now, the World Padel Tour is in observation to see if the professional circuit can resume in the best possible conditions.

A second half that will be very hot for the players. The WPT having indeed already provided an update of the schedule with many stages postponed. Weeks of rest will be rare. But the players are demanding! This is why we see professional players preparing physically in order to avoid sores during the season.
