India. This gigantic country with more than 1 billion inhabitants has become padel about 2 years ago and is also riding the wave. But this rather macho country at heart still allows women to access the land. We just wish the padel develops and “frees” these ladies a little more.

We hear about the padel in almost every country in the world. Let’s get ready because soon we’ll see Asian and African players coming onto the pro circuit. The same goes for India.

This giant is also developing its padel with the Indian Padel Federation for about 2 years. Each year the number of practitioners increases. The very good news is especially among the ladies where the curve is very positive: Their number has doubled in the last two years. Why ? Perhaps because the physical effort is less important at padel than tennis or squash.

Today we count 30% of women in the census of padel in India. Good news.
