On the occasion of the qualifications of the WPT Human Padel Open, Padel Magazine focused on Luis Hernández Quesada, a Spanish player who made his debut alongside his partner Enrique Goenaga.

Its particularity, having a rather particular mental coach and a ticket for the main draw of the stage of the World Padel Tour in France after having passed 3 laps in these qualifications.

The best and the worst memory padel

“My best memory was the last tournament last year in Milan where we reached the main draw, Enrique (Goenaga) and me. As for the worst memory, it was during the second tournament of this year where we were eliminated in the first round.

Focus on the player

“The main characteristic of my pala would be its power.

My ideal partner would be very supportive and dynamic, similar to the partner I currently have.

My favorite tournament was the Milano Premier Padel P1.

The biggest amount of money I won in prize money was in Doha.

Luckily, I didn't have any secret or painful injuries.

Outside of padel, my favorite activity is fishing.”

A history of preferences

“What I love most about padel, it's directing the game. And what I like least is the attention paid to me.

I don't have a particular routine before a match. I warm up properly, I stay focused on the game and I listen to a song that I really like (Paradise by Coldplay), and that's it.

I always have positive thoughts during a match.

I have already broken a racket in anger, but that was a long time ago.

I have an object or an item of clothing that I always wear during a match, and it is always a red colored item of clothing.
