Miguel Lamperti, at 45 years old, continues to surprise and seduce fans of padel. Teaming up with the Spaniard Jose Jiménez Casas, he accesses the main table of the Milano Premier Padel P1.

The duo Lamperti/Jiménez Casas won the final of the previas by beating the pair Córdoba/Montiel Caruso in three disputed sets (6-3, 2-6, 6-3), in a match which lasted an hour and forty -two minutes. After losing the second set, they were able to bounce back in the deciding set. Tomorrow they will face the young 19-year-old Italian Flavio Abbate and his teammate Marco Cassetta. A favorable picture which could allow Lamperti / Casas to continue the adventure in Milan.

On the qualification side, five of the eight seeds managed to make their way to the main draw, with performances from the Vilariño/Oria pair and the Italian-Argentinian Nicolas Suescun. Surprises also punctuated the qualifications, with the victories of Leygue/Insa et Araujo/Rodríguez Martínez.

In the women's table, the final phase of the previas ended with some disappointments for the Italian teams. The Italian wild cards, Caterina Maria Baldi and Valentina Tommasi, were beaten by López/Schuck Silva. On the other hand, Patri Martínez Fortún and Águeda Pérez Ortiz, seeded in the qualifications, won their match.

Tomorrow, the Allianz Cloud will host the Italian duo Giulio Graziotti and Riccardo Sinicropi against Lijo/Cepero, followed by the duel between Abbate/Cassetta and Lamperti/Jimenez Casas. Italian champions Simone Cremona and Lorenzo Di Giovanni will face Spaniards Teodoro Zapata and Francisco Guerrero.
