At the last stage of the My Padel Tour 2017 to Padel Central Lyon, the bosses of French padel have struck again.
Basiten Blanqué and Johan Bergeron made a clear run in this competition which brought together some very nice French pairs including the Lopes / Authier, Ferrandez / Haziza, Boissé / Maigret, Tison / Morillon and Corbelli / Pequery pairs.
The reigning French padel champions have not given up a single set to their opponents. Worse, they have never been worried in this competition.

It is Jérôme Bécasset, the President of Padel Club de Lyon which talks about it the best: "Today, the Bergeron / Blanqué pair is really above in France. If we don't have a Ritz / Scatena (2017 French padel vice-champion) at the top of their game, our French No. 1s will dominate the French competitions ».
"Their serious and constant training in Spain has repercussions on the French results. We hope now that it is in Spain that they will be able to free themselves and show all that they have in the sale ".
But beware, this lead over other major French pairs is not that wide either. A little deconcentration, 200% opponents, headwinds and things can get tough. We saw it recently at the National Padel Cup (Bergeron / Blanqué defeated in the final against Ritz / Scatena).
Majdoubi / Riviere goes to the end
Among the ladies, Nada Majdoubi and Anaïse Rivière won the ladies stage of the My Padel Tour organized at Padel Club of Lyon. They were also favorites of the table and managed to go to the end despite the competition and the loss of the first set in the final against Lecocq / Meites.
But after a complicated departure of the pair Majdoubi / River, there was sanction to the next two sets. (4 / 6 6 / 1 6 / 2)
A great competition for these two players who go up, who go up ...
