Les Bleus beat Portugal in the match for third place at the 2022 World Padel Championship in Dubai!

This is historic for French padel! Indeed, for the first time a French men's team has brought home a medal from a World Championship (the girls finished third in 2012)! Faced with the tournament surprise, Pablo Ayma's players delivered a very good performance to come away with the victory. As against Paraguay and Italy, it was Thomas Leygue and Bastien Blanqué who offered the decisive point to the French team!

Faced with a Miguel Oliveira and an Afonso Ramos certainly less inspired than against Brazil, the champions of France were once again very strong to allow their selection to win the confrontation. They somehow avenge Johan Bergeron and Jérémy Scatena who were not not far from victory against the Deus brothers.
