Today we have the pleasure of interviewing Nada Majdoubi, head of the Grand-Ouest sector at Bullpadel and 34th player in the FFT ranking.

Padel Magazine : We've seen you at tournaments for a while now, you've been playing padel ? How did you find out about this sport?

Nada Majdoubi: I started on Padel in 2017, I had already played once or twice before but the real start was thanks to my internship within the brand Head, where my main mission was to organize the first edition of Head Padel Open. Forced therefore to be immersed in the world of padel, and it was not to displease me! So I quickly gave up the large racket for the small one and since then I have been enjoying the slopes (can't wait to find them again ...)

PM: Today you are at Bullpadel but we saw you before at Head So, but also at Wilson, are you going to work for all the brands? (laughs)

NM: Haha no promise I stop! It's true that I went through other brands before Bullpadel. I began by Head for my Master 1 internship, then I joined the Wilson family afterwards during my Master 2. This last experience will remain very important for me, both from a professional point of view and from a human point of view, with great encounters and very, very good memories.

PM: What exactly is your role at Bullpadel ?

NM: I am a Sector Manager for the whole of the Great West, i.e. half of France with 7 regions (Occitanie, New Aquitaine, Pays de la Loire, Center-Val de Loire, Île de France, Normandy and Brittany)! No, the road doesn't scare me… 🙂 My role is to develop the brand as much as possible Bullpadel on this sector; listen as much as possible to customers, respond to their requests, but also seek new customers to live a new experience together.

PM: You play with the racket Bullpadel Vertex CTR, can you tell us why this choice?

NM: After trying the whole range and starting with the Vertex Women, I finally set my sights on the more powerful Vertex Ctr. I am not penalized by the weight (which remains more important than the Women) but which is very well distributed and not in the lead unlike the Vertex 02. I could detail the characteristics of all the other rackets of the brand but I do not think that it is neither the place nor the time: ') but I remain available for all those who want info. To come back to Vertex Ctr, I find that it is a very good compromise between Power, Effect and Maneuverability.

PM: You are now 34th in the French ranking, what are your objectives in the Padel ? The France team maybe one day?

NM: First take maximum pleasure, this sport has this thing that we do not explain that fascinates us all and takes us to the guts and I want it to last as long as possible. The competitor that I am tends to quickly regain the upper hand should not hide it, so of course the objective is also to make good results and win as many games as possible. The French team is not in the plan for these coming years because of my Moroccan nationality, but that could completely be a challenge for the next few years after a possible naturalization, who knows!

PM: For the reasons that we all know, the season in France is completely on hold. Before that, who were you planning to play with this year?

NM: For this season, before these events, we planned to play together with Aurore De Kermadec, like at the P1000 in Denain. I also had to play a few tournaments with Emmelien Lambreigts. But hey, that was long before the situation we are currently experiencing, which I hope will last as little as possible.

PM: Of course we hope so too. What are you doing during this confinement? Can you still train?

During this confinement, in a small apartment, without an exterior, the days are sometimes long, but I still manage to punctuate them, spending most of my time in the kitchen: ')

Joking aside, I try to train with the means on board almost every day, it is essential in my opinion to maintain a minimum and be able to start off on the right foot when resuming and returning to normal life !
