The world championships padel 2020 which will take place in Qatar from November 15 to 20 promises us a beautiful show. How to follow the worlds live? We will try to answer you.

First, this is a post where some information may sometimes seem contradictory. Indeed, it is not easy to understand who does what and broadcasts where. Here is the information we have.

Bein Sports Mena: exclusive rights

The only thing we are certain of: Bein Sports Mena (acronym for "Middle East and North Africa") better known as Bein Sports Arabic, has obtained the exclusive rights for 37 countries of these world championships padel. Bein Sports will broadcast in 4 geographical areas: Middle East-North Africa, Asia-Pacific, North America and France!

The central pitch will be rebroadcast in Arabic, English and Spanish as of November 15.

The semi-finals and finals will be broadcast in French probably on one of the two French-speaking channels of Bein Sports Mena, certainly for French-speaking countries in Africa.

For the France part, very good news Bein Sports will broadcast the center court in its entirety on its Max channels (in original version). The semi-finals and finals will be commented in French.

Will all matches be broadcast?

That's the question. And we got 2 different answers.

For ten days, it was explained that all the fields would be broadcast live. 5 sites would have been announced. We would like to point out that this is a source that does not come from the International Federation of Padel. So nothing official. Obviously, we asked the FIP for more information. In vain.

At the same time, Bein Sports Mena explained to us that it was broadcasting all of the matches that take place on the central pitch. But a priori, not the short annexes.

Finally, some channels and televisions have bought back rights to broadcast matches from additional fields. This is the case of Padel Eleven, an international group which has obtained rights to broadcast Belgian matches. These meetings will be offered via the channel's application. If you refer to their website, to see all the Belgian matches, you will have to subscribe for a cost of € 14,99.

Finally, the FIP should rebroadcast the matches from the central field on its youtube channel.

The adjoining land?

Bein Sports has been clear: unless an agreement is reached and the rights are purchased, it is forbidden to broadcast live a match from a secondary field.

However, the FIP explains to us that it will be possible to take deferred images of the matches (7 minutes maximum).
