You can be 55 years old well settled and outrank the pawn padel to talented young tennis players who are more powerful, faster and better trained. This is in summary the scenario of the P100 which took place this weekend at 4Padel of Saint-Louis (*), in the south of Alsace.

The final of this tournament opposed two families: on the one hand Philippe Fostier the father (55 years old) and his son Romain (23 years old), on the other the brothers Tom and Noah Boutleux, forty years between them. The latter, although ranked 2nd series in tennis, failed to impose their speed and their offensive strokes against a more experienced pair, where father Philippe was preparing the ground for the devastating smash of his son Romain. The result is final, 6/1 6/3 for the Fostiers.

The latter had previously eliminated in the quarter-final another duo of brothers, that of Luc and Joël Sareczki, beaten 6/1 6/1. And in the half, the Fostiers, decidedly ruthless, only conceded four games to Thibaud Jaegy and Maxime Barthélémy.

The Boutleux brothers, for their part, had to fight in the quarter as well as in the half, eliminating each time in the super tie-break the pairs Cazenave / Fehr then Baeumlin / Schwebel.

The latter consoled themselves by struggling to win the match for 3rd place, while the other classification matches gave rise to great tussles, to the delight of the 24 participants.

Le next tournament in Saint-Louis will be a P250, organized on January 28 by Théo Uhl.
