The club Let Padel in Saint-Pryvé-Saint-Mesmin welcomes this weekend the first P1000 in the Center-Val-de-Loire region. This Saturday gave way to a busy schedule.

The favorites ensure despite some surprises

In the round of XNUMX, we were treated to a few surprises, in particular with the elimination of the seed number 6, Gonzalez / Catteau-Eycken, as well as that of the seeded number 5, Insausti/Cazes-Carrere.

These were dominated by Etienne Brouillard and Eliot Deknuydt, bowing on the score of 6/4 6/4. Gonzalez and Catteau-Eycken, meanwhile, were defeated by the younger players Dumoulin/Pillon, in a match played 6/4 0/6 6/3. In the quarter-finals, the hierarchy was respected. Gautier Boutel and Romain Coirault, seeded number 2, experienced some scares against Dumoulin and Pillon. However, in the decisive set, Dumoulin and Pillon lacked precision. Thanks to their experience, Gautier Boutel and Romain Coirault managed to make the difference and qualified for the semi-finals with a score of 6/4 4/6 6/4.
