P1500 Sete Padel Club – City of Sète : the main draw started this morning, and the first results of the 8ᵉ finals fell.

The promising Timéo Fonteny and Yoan Boronad created a little surprise by eliminating the number 5 seed of the tournament, the pair Arthur Hugounenq / Jérémy Garcia. They won the match in two sets: 7/5 6/4. For Arthur, a complicated defeat after the victory alongside Baptiste Delvienne at the P1000 in Bandol.

Fonteny/Boronad's win follows their first-round success against dangerous qualifiers Matthieu Gonzalez and Erwan Catteau Eychenne 6/2 7/5. They will face in the quarter-finals, at the end of the afternoon, the seed 1, composed of Max Moreau and left-hander Quentin Ayuso. The latter struggled to get rid of Vincent Ferrara and Nicolas Boutier. Victory in two sets of the TS1 in two sets, 7/5 7/6.
