It is an enormous complex which is about to open its doors in Lavau, north of Troyes: Palatium. In this infrastructure, no less than 10 indoor tracks will be available, by June 2024.

The history of Palatium

The man behind the project is Didier De Amorin. Tennis player of origin and pure Trojan, Didier De Amorin aims to create a place where sport rhymes with pleasure, while being in a sporty and well-kept place.

The story dates back to October 2022. On vacation, Didier De Amorin discovered the padel with his father-in-law. This week he will play three times in three different complexes. On the way back, he is certain of one thing: “we are going to open a padel".

Infrastructure and its equipment

The Palatium adventure begins at this precise moment. The new complex is on the cusp of its opening. The work has started in January for an opening planned as soon as June 2024.

On the sports side, the complex will be composed of:

  • 10 indoor courts adapted to competition including 3 to international competition standards.
  • 1 Fitness Room.
  • 2 Beach Tennis.
  • 1 Schuffle Board pitch.
  • 1 Pétanque court.

Palatium will also have a restaurant, a sports bar, five offices, a meeting room... all grouped together in a building 4.500m2.

Club life

The club aims to organize several tournaments during the year, as well as having classes, individual and collective, provided by Spanish coaches.

The main objective of the Palatium Academy, is to offer courses in Padel to children and adults. With this in mind, Palatium is in partnership with the Diagonal Pro Academy who trains and mentors many world-ranked players.

Palatine Complex

With Palatium, Didier De Amorin wishes to create a brand, transferable, strong and recognized which will allow it to establish itself on the market of padel and recreational sport.
