After his victory in three sets against Galan and Sanz, Paquito Navarro gives Toulouse his first final of the season on the World Padel Tour. With his partner Federico Chingotto, Paquito found new life. The Spaniard confided in the microphone of Padel Magazine.

Padel Magazine : First final for you this season on the WPT, what was the key to this meeting?

Paquito: We knew it was going to be a tough game, it's different from Marbella, the conditions are totally different. It was also their second tournament together (Galan/Sanz), after that they will be more grounded. I think the key was the third set, where they paid a bit for the three hour match yesterday…it must have stung. I think that's what tipped the match in our favor and I think we were a bit better in the third set.

PM: In this tournament, we saw you more confident than in previous tournaments, how do you feel?

Paquito: Each time I feel better and better. Playing with Fede is easy, he always makes your life easier, I take advantage of the ferocious beast that he is. It's a real pleasure to play with him

PM: At the end we even saw you propose to him

Paquito: (Laughs) Fede's style suits me really well, he's a classic right-winger who I feel comfortable with and I hope we will maintain this level to continue being great competitors.

PM: Now, what is the program for the day?

Paquito: We will watch the second semi-final, it will be another great half with Ramiro and Xisco against Stupa and Di Nenno. We're going to rest a bit, we'll see who we're playing against tomorrow and we'll prepare well for the final.

PM: Today, there is the Stade Toulousain final, that's why there are red and black jerseys, so if you want to drink a beer you have to go to the Capitole...

Paquito: Are you telling me beers are good for recovery? (Laughs) But no no I think we're going to settle for protein bars, a healthy meal and zero alcohol.

PM: If you win tomorrow maybe then?

Paquito: We'll see, we'll see (laughs).
