We Love Padel succeeded in its bet by organizing Thursday, March 9 at Esprit Padel Lyon the second edition of the we love Padel TennisCup. This unofficial French Cup of economic players in the padel brought together teams in the colors of the following brands: We Love Tennis, Wilson, Head, Kuikma, Bullpadel, Tecnifibre, Dunlop, Red Bull, Spirit Padel, 4PADEL, Sports Management, T&T Global Management, Tecnifibre, Dunlop, NGTV Experience, Magellan, Padel Magazine, Slam Court, Anybuddy, BNP Paribas, SBB, Holistic Tennis, Sport Protech.com, Skin Up, Frequencegroupe.fr, GS BTP, American Socks.

Created last year, the WLPTC brought together no less than 32 pairs this year: 20 entered in a P100 and 12 gathered in a P250. Antoine and Laurent Trupiano (We Love Padel / We Love Tennis ) and the Esprit team Padel had pulled out all the stops to welcome these 64 players, including several members of the French top 50: Amélie Detrivière (7th), Nada Majdoubi (18th), Thomas Mitjana (22nd), Florian Guiral (44th) or Laurent de Barbeyrac (46th).

At the end of group matches and wild confrontation on the eight tracks of the superb complex of Esprit Padel, recently expanded, the two tournaments of the day resulted in beautiful finals.

In the P250, the Tecnifibre team, seeded n°1, wins: Florian Guiral and Yann Renault win 6/3 6/3 against the team Head (seed 2), composed of Laurent de Barbeyrac and Simon Guyet.

They follow François Authier and Julian Prat (Spirit Padel), who lifted the trophy in 2022.

In the P100, the Slam Court team (Yann Halter and Nicolas Daeschler) showed all their knowledge of the terrain by dominating the Frequency team.

Antoine Trupiano, head of We Love Padel within We Love Tennis, summarized the day as follows: “It was a great day of sport but also of sharing. We are very happy to have been able to bring together the main players in this market. They were able to share their news, also discuss issues related to the development of padel. We already have new surprises in mind for the 3rd edition because we feel a real enthusiasm around this concept.
