Sanyo created controversy on the Pro side Padel League to Ultra Padel Miami club during the meeting between the Houston Volts and the Cancun Waves.

A referee under pressure

During this confrontation, the Argentinian was associated with Teo Zapata and faced the young Fran Guerrero and Pablo Garcia. In the second round, Garcia hits a lob that the players seem to see as a foul. Problem: the referee announces the ball is good.

The members of the Volts then tried to take advantage of the referee's error to obtain the point, despite Guerrero having admitted to Zapata that he had seen the ball clearly foul. Sanyo asks to see the video to win his case, and his partner throws a dig at the referee, exclaiming that no one around the field saw this ball as good.

The Malice of El Mago

A few minutes later, on a set point in favor of the Waves, Sanyo saw an opportunity to return the favor. On a lob from Zapata clearly faulted, The magician goes to the referee to put pressure on him. Garcia and Guerrero protested by asking their opponents to admit that the lob was a fault, to which the Argentinian replied:

"You did the same thing Fran, it's vice, not theft."

Sanyo ends by saying that the ball was bad, like the previous one when he agreed to play again because that's what he was taught.

The magician has never had his tongue in his pocket, and it is certainly not in the face of the nerve of the younger generation that he is going to let it happen...
