Next week is the big start of the 2024 season for the elite of padel global. Indeed, the best players on the planet meet in Riyadh in Saudi Arabia for the resumption of Premier Padel.

And while waiting for the stars to enter the fray, these are the qualifying for this P1 which begins this Saturday, with six French people in the running.

We will follow first Manu Vives and Jérémy Scatena, who were not spoiled in the draw, they who faced from the start the seeded 1 of the previas composed of the Melendez brothers.

The good news is that there will be at least one Frenchman in the next round, since Johan Bergeron and Max Moreau are opposed to Jerome Inzerillo and his Spanish partner Martinez Sanchis.

Thomas Leygue and Ferran Insa will cross swords with the experienced Sergio Icardo and Christian Fuster.

Among the most interesting posters of the first round, we of course think of the one which pits Aitor Garcia and Mario Huete (TS6) against Tino Libaak and Leo Augsburger, former members of the Top 20 of the World Padel Tour, who find themselves outside the Top 100 in the new FIP ranking !
