Period of confinement, you are obliged to stay at home. Enjoy it! Take care of your gear padel, we give you some advice.

We don't necessarily think about it, but when we stay at home, and especially these days, it's good to take care of your stuff.

Do not think that there is nothing to do at home. Besides putting your house in order, making some repairs, preparing good meals, painting, playing video games or embarking on a new series of 25 seasons, there is also the Maintenance of your equipment. Here are a few tips.

Empty your paletero

Empty your paletero completely, you will find that you will find things there that you did not expect. Wash all the textiles left inside. Towel, handles or others will be ready and "clean" for your return to the slopes.

There may be sand in your paletero. Empty it and sponge it both inside and outside of your bag.

Clean your pala

Your pala is your tool on the track. We frequently change the grip but we don't necessarily think of cleaning the pala itself. Little reminder, after playing, when you are at home, remember to take the pala out of your bag so that it dries, both the foam and the handle.

With absorbent paper and alcohol at 90º, clean all your pala. You will make it look young again. Doing this cleaning will also allow you to see the condition of your racket, perhaps cracks that you may not have noticed.

Your shoes

Another part of your equipment that deserves to be taken care of. For many players, the shoes come home, are put away delicately (true?), And came out in the next game.

Shoes from padel must first dry. If you can, put them out in the open when you get home to prolong their life.

In short. Take out the sole and empty the shoe of the sand which is inside. Dislodge small stones that could have been trapped between the studs on the sole, and brush your shoes to remove any accumulated dust.

Two advices: if you type your shoes to dust them, do it on the side of the soles because side laces you will deform them. Then no water. Do not pass them through the washing machine.

Your paletero and your belongings padel are finally ready to return to battle. It remains to wait for the signal start ...
