While they faced Chile, our French women did not need to force their talent to win. With two victories in two days, they qualify for the final phase of these worlds, like the gentlemen !

The compositions which had changed compared to the day before, did not disturb the players more than that. Back to the different results.

It's all good for Ligi / Collombon

For her first match with the France team, Fiona Ligi did not disappoint. From the first to the last point, it was a piece of fun for our French women against the pair Obrecht / Heres. A game overflown against opponents who found themselves without a solution.

Final score: 6-0 / 6-0

Godallier and Invernon equally strong

Just like their sisters who started the day for this French women's team, Léa Godallier and Élodie Invernon crushed their opponents. It should be noted that Elodie Invernon has just lost her first selection game. Not much to say more, except that the champion and the vice-champion of France will have absolutely not trembled in this match.

Final score: 6-1 / 6-0

A 3rd game without a stake for the Detrivière / Soubrié pair

The match, which was anecdotal (given that France was already qualified), opposed the Detrivière / Soubrié pair to T. Jacque and K. Ahumada. If the first set was in line with what their French compatriots had produced earlier in the day, the second was hardly more hooked. Chile is therefore better than the United States with 3 games won in 3 games, against two for the Americans ...

Final score: 6-0 / 6-2

The French will face Germany tomorrow, also unbeaten in this world after beating the USA 2 to 1. The first place in the group will therefore be at stake for our tricolors who will once again be largely favorites.

"We played hard, we respected our opponents"

The words spoken by Léa Godallier finally sum up the day quite well. The interview can be found in full here:

Passionate about football, I discovered the padel in 2019. Since then, it's been crazy love with this sport to the point of abandoning my favorite sport.
