This is a first that took place during the World Padel Tour Malaga Open: the participation of a Qatari pair in the event.

Abdulla Alhijji and Khalid Saadon Alkuwari made history by becoming the first Qatari pair to compete in a World Padel Tour. Beaten 6/1 6/2 by Hugo Garcia Martinez (187) et Jose Mena Macias (239), they still have a long way to go to hope one day to worry the Spaniards on their land.

But the essential is elsewhere, this participation is further proof that the padel has no borders. Just over three months from Global padel in Qatar, we realize that this country is very interested in our sport!
