What a game ! What level of play! Alix Collombon / Nicole Traviesa were very close to continuing the adventure at the WPT PARIS CHALLENGER at Casa Padel.

Against the Spanish pair, Hernandez / Icardo, the Franco-Spanish pair had opportunities to break ... and create the surprise (small) to reach the semi-final of the Parisian Challenger.

Lots of unconverted occasions that might just hurt your stomach a bit.

In the first set, the Spaniards make a great start, while the pair Collombon / Traviesa returns little by little in the game. They lose the first set 6 / 4.

In the second set, Collombon / Traviesa is led 4 / 5 but she manages to break then to win the second set 7 / 5.

In the 3rd set, at 1/0 for Collombon / Traviesa, Alix injured her ankle. But she continues and fights with the help of her partner Nicole Traviesa who achieves breathtaking defenses. While the Spanish lead 3/1 in the 3rd set, the Franco-Spanish pair are down to 3 everywhere. They even have opportunities to do something in this 3rd set. At 5 everywhere, it's the break of the Spanish.

In this 12th game of the 3rd set, despite 3 break points and 2 match points saved, the 3rd ball will unfortunately be the right one for the Spaniards who won this decisive set 7/5.

Alix Collombon and Nicole Traviesa made a crazy game against the Spanish pair Hernandez / Icardo. 4 incredible players who delivered one of the big games of the week.

A priori, it would be a sprain for Alix will be confirmed (or not) this weekend. We do not know yet if it's an injury that could affect the rest of the season. We will obviously keep you informed.

Thank you girls for this amazing match. And given the progress of Alix and Nicole, we want to believe that the best is yet to come.
