While still looking to make his return to the ATP Tour, Rafael Nadal announced on Twitter that he is now a shareholder in Playtomic, a tennis and tennis booking app. padel already present in around fifty countries around the world.

According to the company, the 37-year-old tennis player became a member of the platform and saw fit to invest in the company. “Rafa Nadal's global projection will contribute to Playtomic's expansion into other markets“. Playtomic also mentions that the Spaniard's financial investment reinforces its objectives: to promote tennis and padel around the world by connecting players.

For his part, the Bull of Manacor spoke about this choice, explaining that he was “very happy with this opportunity that Playtomic offers me, because it manages to bring together a community interested in padel and tennis and to make these sports accessible to all types of people, regardless of their physical condition or level of play. I believe that bringing sport to everyone always has a positive impact on society".
