This is why he and his team volunteered to perform a demonstration of padel during the visit of Mrs. La Minister of Sports.

A very good idea, since they were able to exchange a few balls on the brand new field. Roxana Maracineanu will thus be able to work more easily on the file padel if this subject arrives on his table, especially in view of the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024.

Clément Legrain tells us the story of how to get the Minister on the court:

We made this demonstration during the inauguration of an outdoor sports complex in Solesmes in the North with 2 tennis courts, 1 tennis court. padel, 1 athletics track, 1 football field, 1 city and a BMX track.

This is a big complex for the region.

I had heard vaguely about this Inauguration in this "small town", the guest minister, as soon as I knew she was coming, I contacted the town hall of Solesmes. I asked what was planned for the padel for the inauguration: nothing! It happened overnight. I offered my services: small demo + tests to the public. They told me Banco. I had to find 4 players urgently.

The Minister was not supposed to stop on the ground of padel. But I knew the member who greeted him. As she passed the court, I called out to the Minister and handed her the racket to give it a try.

Clément also returns to the objective of making all efforts for the good of the padel :

The goal of this process and this meeting for me was to create visibility and make buzz.

At 5 years of the Olympic Games, even though we may not have the discipline in Paris, we must show ourselves.
