Sandrine Testud, an emblematic figure of French tennis in the 1990s and early 2000s, left her mark on the WTA circuit. After a successful tennis career, Testud made a notable transition to padel.

Born on April 3, 1972, Testud enjoyed numerous successes on the WTA Tour, reaching No. 9 in the world in February 2000. She won three singles titles during her career and reached the women's doubles final at the US Opened in 1999 with Chanda Rubin. Testud represented France with distinction, notably contributing to France's Fed Cup victory in 1997 with victory against the Netherlands.

His transition to padel started in 2015, in Rome, where she lives. Shortly after, she became captain of the Italian team padel, leading the team at the European Championships. Although the team did not win a title, his presence and experience were a huge asset to the Italian team.

Sandrine Testud now pursues her passion for sport through padel. She was recently highlighted for her ambitions in the padel senior, notably targeting the world championship in Las Vegas. Alongside Sara Celata, she was crowned Italian champion.
