What an incredible week for Charlotte Soubrié and Carla Touly, who scored their first major victory on the elite circuit of the padel French at 4Padel Toulouse-Colomiers!

Only a few days after having set foot on the prestigious Philippe-Chatrier court at Roland-Garros during the Greenweez Paris Major, the Soubrié/Touly pair created a small sensation by beating the number 1 seed of the FFT Padel Tour Toulouse, Jessica Ginier-Barbier/Lucile Pothier.

It was, according to a poll conducted before the match by Mario Cordero, a victory against all odds.

In exactly 54 minutes, Soubrié / Touly won in two sets this revenge of the semi-final of Bordeaux against Ginier / Pothier: 6/1 6/4.

Jessica and Lucile had very few opportunities in this match, benefiting from only one break point compared to six for their opponents, who realized three of these opportunities.

To conclude, the Soubrié/Touly pair did not lose any sets during this tournament and never conceded more than 5 games in a match. A very good performance for these players who continue to surprise us and who have certainly learned lessons from their defeat in three sets at the Greenweez Paris Major.

This victory is all the more significant as it comes only two weeks before the French Championships. He is hard to imagine Soubrié/Touly do not participate after such a result.

Note the victory of Marie-Amélie Dardaine and Tiffany Phaysouphanh (TS2) in the small final against Camille Sireix and Amélie Detrivière (TS8) (6/1 3/6 6/3).
