Stadium Thiais is originally an indoor football complex born in 2015 which now has 15 football pitches.

Since 2018, the club has been diversifying with the construction of basketball courts and more recently the arrival of the padel in the center.

The manager padel, Julian Freitas tells us about the evolution of the center and the challenge of padel.

In diversification, there is padel

“The objective is to combine several sports. And it works. On the other hand, the padel requires having independent management with its own entrance.

Since the opening, Stadium Thiais has been +10% more athletes per year.

Le padel moves to the Stadium: two new latest generation indoor pitches approved World Padel Tour have made their arrival (including a panoramic).

Le padel is a sport that appeals to everyone and its other interest is that a track of padel takes up much less space than a 5-a-side football pitch, for example.

Now we have two basketball courts, badminton, table tennis and of course two padel. But we announce that we will be moving to five tracks this year! “

Customers shift to padel

"The padel is becoming more and more important. Many customers reaching their XNUMXs are turning to the padel. It is a booming sport, more and more trendy. Compared to football, this activity is clearly less physically dangerous. We observe fewer injuries, it is a very important point, even more when we get older. I think that the changeover happens naturally from football to padel.

We plan to open a school of padel, to offer courses, tournaments... We can't wait to have our five tracks!”
