Premier Padel continues to reinvent the padel. After having deleted the golden point, the circuit offers something new: a final on Saturday and another on Friday !

Looking at the calendar of Premier Padel for this new 2024 season, two competitions stand out. It's about Riyadh P1 and Qatar Major, the first two deadlines. Indeed, looking at the dates of the tournament, we quickly realize that the finals will not be played on Sunday, but on Saturday for the first and even the Friday for the second!

A change of habit which seems to be explained by a simple reason: the start of Ramadan. Until a few days ago, we did not know exactly when this important day for Muslims would take place in 2024, and we therefore understand that the organization wanted to ensure this by proposing the final of the Qatar Major on March 8. In the end, this year, Ramadan will start normally on March 10, the day on which the final of the Qatari tournament should logically have taken place. The organizers therefore played their part well.

To be able to have the final of the Qatar Major on a Friday, it was also necessary shift Riyadh P1 by one day, with a final on Saturday!

It is of coursean exceptional case because as we see in the calendar above, only these two tournaments will have their final on a day other than Sunday.

As a reminder, the final table of Riyadh P1 will begin Monday February 26. The qualifications, for their part, will begin this Saturday 24 February, with several French people who will try to make their mark!
