This is a record at the Cap d'Agde International Tennis Center: La National Padel Cup 2019 starts with a tournament of padel P100 with a total of 100 pairs (including 20 pairs for women).

A tournament that ends with the victory at the ladies of Sophie Douchet and Julie Cazaubon. Players who are in the top 200, but who are worth much more. Faced with them, Samia Per and Maeva Spooner have done everything to return to the game. In vain. Victory 6 / 4 6 / 2.

For the men, the day was particularly sporty with the final victory of Fabien Laussucq and Sabri Laphitz on Julien Achekian and Jérémy Solivellas. For some, these are 6 matches (very short formats and a final in 2 sets).

Events that are adapted during the National Tennis Cup where we have about 6000 people present (accompanying persons included).

The referee François Lorenzo can blow before leaving for a new P100 ladies and gentlemen on a day with the world at the start!

The National Padel Cup has reoriented itself on what is the basis of the National Tennis Cup: Leisure and discovery. A winning reorganization.

Supporters and players mostly discover the padel. Elsa PELLEGRINELLI, Racquetsports Manager Head Padel tells us :

It is a very particular tournament in the landscape of padel French and European. Players experience the sport for the first time during the NPC. The events are working incredibly well and we can see that there is a very important enthusiasm.

Christophe Lesage, President of the National Tennis Cup explains:

We wanted to switch to padel leisure. A large majority of the players present in this competition discover the padel. It's a great way to get started in this sport.

Exhibitions and initiations are planned with the intervention of the team Head Padel : Alix Collombon, Johan Bergeron and Robin Haziza. We should also have Jérémy Scatena from Technopadel next Thursday.
