This weekend took place in Valenciennes, in the North, the “P500 Caisse d’Épargne”. Nearly 30 teams competed on the three indoor courts of TSB Valenciennes.

For a P500, the field was very strong with the presence of the best players in the region including six players ranked in the French Top 100.

This made it possible to have two ultra-contested semi-finals. The first saw the pair Étienne Brouillard/Eliot Deknuydt win 7/6 7/6 against local player Baptiste Delbove and Lilian Fouré.

In the other semi-final, the surprise pair of the table, formed by the Belgians Beau Vanhoutte and Xander De Wever, who had taken out the number 1 seed of the tournament (Adrien Dandois/Paul Forichon), lost in the super tie-break against the duo composed of Johan Romanowski, coach of TSBV, and Eric Quillet Monchiet (2/6 7/6 10/5).

In the final, the intensity of the semi-finals was felt and it was the Brouillard/Deknuydt pair who won this P500 against Romanowski/Quillet Monchiet 6/3 6/3.

The club thanks all participants and spectators for their presence throughout the weekend and to the Caisse d'Épargne for its support.
