The CNE PADEL, It's for tomorrow. The Paris Council has selected the group formed by the FFT and UrbanSoccer, of which the FFT will be the agent, to operate the Sport Center of the Île de Puteaux (Hauts-de-Seine)

The FFT is pleased that the Paris Council has approved, the contract of Delegation of Public Service confiding to the grouping together the FFT and UrbanSoccer the valuation and the exploitation of the Sports site of the Island of Puteaux (Hauts-de-Seine). This contract, approved by the FFT Executive Committee, will be voted on at the next FFT General Assembly in December. This exceptional site, with an area of 11 hectares, will gain new momentum by offering a new range of multidisciplinary sports practice open to all.

This project notably provides for the rehabilitation by the FFT of 21 tennis courts that can be played all year round, including 11 on clay courts, and the creation of a padel, which will host the National Training Center of Padel with 14 courts, as well as a club house and a fitness room. For its part, UrbanSoccer will manage three football pitches and one outdoor rugby pitch, in compliance with public service obligations, as well as two 2-a-side football pitches and 7 16-a-side football pitches.

This site aims to develop both the practice of "leisure" sport and excellence and high level performance. The tennis courts, which can be mobilized all year round, will for some be used during the Roland-Garros tournament to host the qualifications for the junior tournament and for training. Throughout the year, these fields will be open to associations, schools, as well as practitioners who play occasionally.

« With the creation of the very first National Training Center of Padel, the FFT will have exceptional equipment, making it possible to continue the development of this booming discipline in France, and to promote its high level "Says Bernard Giudicelli, President of the French Tennis Federation.

At the same time, the group is committed to preserving this island of greenery, with magnificent landscaped areas. The FFT will be supported in this project by an environmental study office. This place will be ISO 20121 certified, “events for sustainable development”, guaranteeing numerous eco-responsible commitments. The choice of construction materials and the management of waste, water or energy will thus be carried out with the greatest respect for the environment.
