Could Mike Yanguas have done it again?

We all know the player's strong character as well as his little tricks to destabilize his opponents. In 2023 several players paid the price like at Roland-Garros during the Greenweez Paris Major when he managed to annoy Juan Lebron and Alejandro Galan. This year again he starts his season strong by annoying his ex partner Federico Chingotto. In fact the two players who had teamed up for a tournament in Sardinia found themselves in Saudi Arabia but this time, not on the same side of the track.

"Super mouse” who begins a new season alongside Momo Gonzalez was opposed to the 100% Andalusian pair, Miguel Yanguas / Javier Garrido. The meeting sparked several times, notably because of the Malaga native. Three times the young 21-year-old player questioned the referee's decisions.

Firstly on a ball from Chingotto. While he was trying to defend it, his ball hits the gate on his side but he pretends not to have seen anything to clear himself of his fault. On the second point, he tries to lob his opponents, but without result. His ball will hit the rear window head-on. Nothing to panic the Andalusian who will once again act surprised and question the decision of the referee present. Fede Chingotto is already starting to be desperate by his opponent's attitude. But it's not over because later in the match, while Javier Garrido performs a powerful smash, Momo Gonzalez emerges and manages to touch the ball, putting it back in the opposing court. Once again the audacity of Miguel Yanguas will appear as if by magic and with a flick of his finger he will point out a mistake by his rival. The referee will not be fooled and will still give the point to the Spanish-Argentine pair.

The two Spaniards managed to win their match in just two sets 6/3 – 7/6 and reach their first semi-final the next day. Opposed to los Superpibes, they will fall 6/2 – 6/1.
