The last Open of World Padel Tour 2020, which kicks off tomorrow Sunday November 15 in Las Rozas, near Madrid, will be played completely behind closed doors.

In Barcelona, in the immense Palau Sant Jordi, the World Padel Tour had welcomed the public, in an influx of less than 30% of the building's capacity. For'Alicante Open, the WPT had decided to go back to a closed session, not selling tickets, but still granting to each player two invitations for their relatives.

For this last Open of 2020, and in a context of health crisis which has intensified for a few weeks, it is without any spectator that the matches will take place. No more two invitations per player, the WPT is toughening its measures to minimize the risk of transmission, so we go back, as during the first tournaments in Madrid, on a total closed session.

It's in a Euroindoor Padel Alcorcon which may sound empty that the tournament preprevia will start tomorrow, at 09h00.
