The French continue their very good run at La Nucia, and as with the men, we will have four pairs in the semi-finals of the Open for the women.

In over 35 years, Charlotte Soubrié and Mélanie Ros won a big fight against the Belgians Elke Clijsters and Leonie Geukens: 6/4 3/6 6/3.

It was much easier for the pairs Amélie Détriviere / Julie Pecastaing (+40 years), Émilie Loit / Peggy Maignien (+45 years) and Catherine Lalanne / Alexia Dechaume (+50 years) who won in two sets each time.

End of the course however for the pair Phan Than / Dumoutier (+55 years), beaten by the Brazilians Gonzales and Kalfe 7/5 6/4.

Four French pairs will play this afternoon to try to reach the final, but in the meantime they have a big confrontation this morning against Italy in the nations competition. A match to follow from 10:00 a.m. on the FIP YouTube channel.
