As the 2022 season is about to end, the World Padel Tour communicated a few days ago new destinations where players will drop off their suitcases for a tournament.

Back to action in February

It is in Majorca, from next February, that the cream of the padel world will meet to inaugurate the new season. It has been six years since the largest island of the Balearics last hosted an Open. And for good reason the latter was confined to tournaments of the Challenger category. For this big comeback, the competition will be held in Manacor, in the mythical Rafa Nadal Academy, from February 14 to 19, 2023.

Immediately after, a radical change of atmosphere awaits our favorite players as they will fly to the United Arab Emirates, and more precisely to Abu Dhabi from February 21 to 26, to play the first Master of the year. This is a great first for the World Padel Tour, which will organize its first major event in this part of the globe.

WPT Asunción 2023
Paraguay will be a new destination for the start of the 2023 season

Latin America in the spotlight

The month of March 2023 will honor the South American continent with the first “Americana” tour. The first stage will take place in La Rioja, Argentina, from the 7th to the 12th. Then it will be up to Chile to enter the dance the following week with a competition in its capital. And finally, it is in Asunción, Paraguay, that we will find the best players in the world from March 21 to 26.

For the moment these are the only destinations communicated by the circuit but it seems that at the end of the 2022 season, the latter will tell us a little more about what awaits us next year.

To be continued, so stay tuned to Padel Magazine to know everything about the next season.
