The quarter-finals of the Amsterdam Open have delivered their verdict and the eight pairs are expected today, from 11 a.m., on the central court track.

Josmaria / Sanchez, the royal road?

The first women's semi-final will pit the world number ones, Paula Josemaria and Ariana Sanchez, against the surprise pair of this last square, Aranzazu Osoro and Jessica Castello. The number seven seed will have a lot to do to deprive Josemaria/Sanchez of another final and stop their impressive winning streak.

It's almost a classic!

In the second rotation of the morning, Alex Ruiz and Juan Tello will face the tireless Fede Chingotto and Paquito Navarro. The Ruiz/Tello pair continues its rise in power in this Amsterdam Open and intends to prevent Chingotto and Navarro from a new final this season.

Brea / Gonzalez: to finish the season better?

Hostilities will resume at 16 p.m., with the second women's semi-final. Gemma Triay and Marta Ortega will meet Delfi Brea and Bea Gonzalez. Will the Spanish-Argentinian pair, in a bad spiral in recent tournaments, be able to prevent a new final in Ortega/Triay which surprises with its regularity? Since their association in June, the two players have played 11 semi-finals in 11 tournaments.

The final before time

The last meeting of the day will pit the winners of the German Open, Alejandro Galan and Juan Lebron, against their runners-up, Martin Di Nenno and Franco Stupaczuk. The two pairs had to battle in their quarter-final, losing a set each. This is the third meeting between these two teams this season, Lebron/Galan advantage. So, will Di Nenno and Stupaczuk manage to win for the first time against the former world number ones? Response at the end of the day.

AMSTERDAM OPEN SEMI-FINAL SCHEDULE

Gwenaelle Souyri

It was his brother who one day told him to accompany him on a track. padel, since then, Gwenaëlle has never left the court. Except when it comes to going to watch the broadcast of Padel Magazine, World Padel Tour… or Premier Padel…or the French Championships. In short, she is a fan of this sport.
