What a game ! We certainly saw the biggest fight of the season today in semi-final of World Padel Tour Cascais Open !

A 3h27 battle which saw Bea Gonzalez and Marta Ortega win after a suspense against Alejandra Salazar and Gemma Triay. Maxi Grabiel's players, who served for the match at 5/3 in the second set, saw their opponents inflict six games in a row on them, and while we felt them in distress, they were able to get back into the fight to pick up the score .

The third set could only be decided by the tie-break, and in this little game it was Marta and Bea who were the strongest. Although they won four decisive points less than their opponents, those who form the seed 3 were more successful at the very end of the match to get away with the victory and thus deprive the numbers 1 of a sixth consecutive final!

Thanks to this success Martita and Bea offer themselves a second final on an Open this season. Those who won in Copenhagen will try to do it again tomorrow. It will either face Ariana Sanchez and Paula Josemaria, or face Marta Marrero and Lucia Sainz. Answer in the afternoon!
